Long, long ago, there was a awful drought in ZhengHe. It had not been raining for several years, people suffered from famine and plague. It was said that there was a dragon-well on the DongGong Mountain, beside which there was a sacred grass. If you could get the juice of the sacred grass you will heal any kind of disease. Many brave young men volunteered to find the sacred grass but nobody had come back. Just nearby the DongGong mountain lived two brothers: ZhiGang, ZhiCheng, and their young sister ZhiYu. All of them decided to find the sacred grass on the mountain. ZhiGang went out first, he came to the hill side of the DongGong mount, at that time he met an old man with white hair, white beard and white eyebows. the old man told him that the sacred grass was right beside the dragon-well. However, if people turned back when they were climbing, they would never get the grass. Without any hesitate, ZhiGang climbed to the halfway of the mountain. What he saw was riprap amid the forest which even blocked the sunlight, ogrish shadows appear everywhere. Suddenly there was a shout behind ZhiGang: "How dare you come here!" Scared and shocked, ZhiGang turned back to the source of the sound, immediately he became a piece of stone. Soon after, the same tragedy happened to ZhiCheng. The young sister ZhiYu realized her brothers wound never come back, she decided to find the sacred grass by herself. Like her brothers, she met the old gentleman at the hillside, the old man told her the same thing and gave her a piece of roasted cake. When ZhiYu came to the halfway, the noise came again. However, ZhiYu blocked her ear with the cake so that she heard nothing. She did not turn back until she got to the dragon-well. The sacred grass was right beside the well, ZhiYu irrigated the sacred grass with the water in the well. the sacred grass blossomed immediately and fructified. ZhiYu picked the seed and came back. She planted the seed and get sacred trees allover the hillside. That was what now comes to be known as the tea named BaiHao YinZhen.
