Zhan Guo Period (the Warring States Periods) (about 5th century BC – 221 BC)

These two potteries are about 2200 years old. In the Warring States period, China was divided into many small kingdoms. The kiln technology had a big development at that time. The temperature could be kept at a very high level so that the products were much harder. The decoration was also much better in this period. The workers learned to stamp patterns on the surfaces.

These two potteries have stamped patterns and this design affected the design of tea containers in the later dynasties.
