HuangShan Mountain is one of the most beautiful and famous mountains in China. Located in AnHui Province, HuangShan (Means "Yellow Mountain") attracts millions of tourists every year because of its beauty. Produced in such a great mountain, HuangShan MaoFeng is also well-known for its special outlook and mild fragrance.

 

HuangShan MaoFeng is planted at high sea level, amid the steer peeks and deep valleys. On HuangShan, it is warm and wet during most time of the year. There is always heavy fog around the stone peeks.  The tea trees are merged in the fog which is suitable for the growth of tea, the leaves and sprouts are getting very strong.

 

The HuangShan MaoFeng should be picked in early spring, only one leaf and one sprout on the stem should be picked, and be processed to dry tea on the same day. The processed tea has a spear-like sprout covered by white fine hair, and a yellow-green leaf attached to the sprout. When soaked in hot water, the fragrance fills the whole room, the tea soup should be clear and bright green, with a very special taste last for a long time.
