Song Dynasty

The Longquan Kiln was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. It was famous for its celadon porcelains. The Longquan Kiln used special glaze which was thick and not easy to flow. The thick layer of the glaze gave a special effect on the surface and made the porcelains very attractive and distinguishable from the other kilns.
