Some scholars reckon
that the Junshan Yinzhen ("Silver Needle") tea is yellow tea
according to its color of the bud. However, the processing technique
is same to the green tea. (See
Junshan Yinzhen for the
detail information of this famous tea).
There is a story about the Island Junshan in the Dongting Lake:

4000 years ago when the legendary Emperor Shun made his inspection
tour in today's Hunan Province, he passed away under the Mount
Jiu'yi. His two concubines ran to the funeral on the bad news.
However, their ship sank into the Lake of Dongting. There were
seventy two big green conches rising from the lake and became an
island to support the two concubines. There were many bamboos on the
island. The two ladies were trapped on the island, they cried to the
direction of their lord's bier. Their tears and blood came out of
their eyes and stained the bamboo stems. After they died they were
buried on the island and today there are still many spots on the
bamboos. The island was later called Junshan ("The Emperor's Hill").
Another story about Junshan is Liu Yi and the Dragon Princess: the
Dragon Princess was tortured by her evil dragon husband. Liu Yi, a
young scholar, volunteered to travel several thousand miles to the
princess's home town Junshan and sent message to her family. Later
the evil dragon was killed and the princess married Liu Yi. The Liu
Yi Well is where Liu Yi met the Dongting Lake's dragon family. The
water in the well is crystal clear, fresh and sweet, especially good
for making tea soup.
Today, Junshan Yinzhen is one of the most famous tea in China. The
Liu Yi Well is also a resort in the Dongting Lake with attracts
thousands of visitors every year.
