The Mount
TianTai is in the TianTai Country in ZheJiang Province. The Mount
TianTai is famous for its temples, its water and its tea. On the
ZiNing Peak, there is a water fall hanging on the cliff several
hundred yards high up.
The Tea Saint LuYu called this waterfall the No. 17 best water. The
TianTai Mountain is also famous for its tea production. The tea is
planted in the mists in the high peaks, called fog tea.
On the Mount Tiantai there is also another famous tea: the Tiantai
Mist and Cloud Tea. It grows in the humid environment of Mount
Tiantai and the tea buds become strong and tight, with a special
aroma and elegant outlook. Every year in the early summer there are
many tourist coming to this area just to taste the famous match of
the Tiantai tea and water.
