The glass making techology was introduced into China in the Chunqiu and Zhanguo Period (800-200 B.C). It was developed in the Han and Tang Dynasty, because of the development of sea nevigating and silk road. However, until the 17th century, glass had always been considered as a kind of jade. It was a very expensive material at that time, such as this valuable tea cup. Glass was also used as a kind of medication or magical wizard craft by the ancient people.
