Lushan is the name of a region, and a mountain called Mount Lushan, in China's Jiangxi Province, located between Lake Boyang and the city of Jiujiang. Its history dates thousand of years in China's past. It is a popular domestic and foreign tourist attraction and hosts both the famous mountain resort town of Lushan and the Lushan National Park. The UNESCO named it as a world heritage in 1996 as a cultural landscape of outstanding aesthetic value and its powerful associations with Chinese spiritual and cultural life..

 

The ShuiLian Waterfall is located in the KangWang Valley of Mount Lushan. It is also called the Three-stair Water. It falls 120 meters down from the top of the cliff. The Tea Saint Lu Yu called it the No. 1 Spring in China. Another nearby spring the ZhaoYin Spring was also called the No. 6 spring. Since then the ShuiLian water has been famous. Many celebrities had visited here and tried its water. There were also many poems and articles about this waterfall.
